This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I am in a rural school in Alabama. Most of my students receive free or reduced lunch. Our school is a Title 1 school. Students will love to explore early learning comprehension skills.
My students are excited about learning.
They would absolutely love to engage in doing different activities. The students loves hands-on activities.
The listen and learn early comprehension program will be a great hands -on tool.
The children can use the program from the beginning of the school year and until the end of the school year.
My Project
The Listen and Learn Early Comprehension Activity program will enhance and encourage early comprehension of literature and informational text. The program consists of 16 steps that the students will complete on their own. The students will be guided as they explore a variety of comprehension skills.
The program will also help the students to master different skills.
The students will recognize beginning sounds, ending sounds, word recognition, and decoding skills. The center is designed with simple picture instruction that are easy for the students to follow on their own. The ready to use center comes with everything the students will need to build early comprehension.
