My Students

I teach in a rural high school where my students crave to experience everything, but are limited on what they have access to because of the amount of money it takes to offer quality classes and connect with local businesses. They are hardworking, determined students who deserve to have as many worthwhile academic experiences as students in large cities.

My students hope to take their skills and make their small community better with their knowledge.

With the right materials, these kids have a chance to become leaders in their community and the world.

My Project

In the first month of COVID, we had to go remote. So many of my students didn't have what they needed to learn.

Today, we have our lessons on Canvas, so having the right technology will make a big difference in how my students learn.

With headphones available in class, they will be able to complete all the lessons without interrupting others. This will make a difference. Just like my students do. With the right books and supplies, my students will be able to learn together. Having the resources to read, write, and communicate together will make them ready to be adults.
