This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My amazing students are high poverty, minority students who have everything against them. I am working hard to give them a positive learning environment and introduce them to experiences that may not always have been available to them.

I have found it is difficult for a lot of my students to get school supplies.

I would love to supply all of my students with everything they need but that is very difficult to do. If I can ensure they are prepared for class they will be able to better focus on that day's learning

My Project

The curriculum I use to teach my students is completely online. By providing my students with headphones I can ensure that they are able to listen to and learn each and everything I teach.

With headphones students have the opportunity to learn from many people if they have the option to listen to many different types of learning styles and tutorials.

Although learning is a huge portion of my students need of headphones some students learn best while listening to music. Headphones will allow for those students to discreetly work in a manner that works best for them but may not work for everyone.
