This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Tori Amos once said, "Some of the most interesting people are the ones that don't fit in boxes." Our students are the embodiment of this quote. Our students are very special. They face different learning difficulties. They are kindergarten, first, and second grade levels. The students in our class work very hard to go above and beyond to complete their work and meet expectations in the classroom. They are very bright and tech savvy.
Our group loves to play outside, do artwork, and use the computers provided by the school.
They are always bundles of smiles. They love to dance and sing. They never cease to amaze us every single day.
My Project
Our students benefit greatly from a program called Imagine Learning. We ask that our students complete at least 30 minutes a day on this computer program. It teaches reading, writing, and language skills.
This is essential for our student to be productive.
They have to speak words back into the mic. The headphones we are currently using are too big and our students have trouble keeping them on their heads.
We also use the ink tho print worksheets that are fun, yet educational to aid in student learning. Any help towards this project will help our kids greatly. Thank you.
