My Students

I teach first grade so my little people have never had a normal school year thus far due to COVID. I am seeing more than ever this year a need for multi-level reading materials. Having a leveled library in my classroom which would meet the needs of all my students would be so wonderful for my little people who are so very eager to read.

My Project

This school year, more than ever I have seen such a gap in learning. Some of my students are reading, some are at the beginning stages of reading, and others are struggling with sounds and blending. Having a leveled library in my class will ensure that all students have reading materials at their level. Not only will they be able to read in class, but also take these readers and share them with their family, and hopefully instill confidence and a love for reading. Thank you for considering my project.
