My Students

We are leaders in my school and proud of it! Our students work so hard to be the best leaders they can be. Our school is located along the rural Gulf Coast of Alabama, and many of our students come from homes with obstacles to overcome. Despite their many obstacles, our students rise to the challenge every day to be the best versions of themselves, so they can help others and our community. Our school motto is Learn, Love, Serve, Lead.

My Project

I teach a special needs class with some pretty amazing students in it. Just like our peers we enjoy taking our learning off campus and into the real world. This spring we will learn about different animals that live in a zoo and the Ocean. We will talk about their natural habitats and what we can do to protect them in the wild. We will finish our animals unit by taking a field trip to the Gulf Breeze Zoo and the Gulfarium. It's about a 2 hour drive from our school. We will be leaving before school starts and returning when school is out, so we can't use a school bus. I am already looking forward to this trip with my students. Thank you for your support and helping us get where we want to go!
