Lion King Costumes and Props

Help me give my students Costumes and props for their Lion King production. They will be strengthening their literacy skills by reading about the Broadway Lion King and developing discipline of teamwork by performing.

My Project

I hope to improve my students' literacy skills by putting on a production of Disney's “Lion King," They will be reading about the Broadway Lion King and the script to improve literacy

By donating to our project, you will help to improve and increase literacy skills and self discipline of students from underserved communities.

Most of my students live below the poverty line and read below grade level. Many of them do not have exposure to seeing theatre performances nor have ever performed in a theatrical production. They will develop the discipline for working together as a team and collaborating with their classmates to produce a show that they can feel proud of and remember for the rest of their lives.
