My Students

Our Fourth Grade students are incredibly talented and motivated. Music this year is something that has helped them to explore and express who they are and make connections in their lives.

They've had so much excitement and joy learning to play the recorder this year; their first wind instrument.

Recorder is a precursor to opportunities that open up for them next year in Band. They've been working on becoming more musical as individuals and now have an avenue to apply their skills and abilities.

My Project

We have been given the opportunity through Carnegie Hall's Link Up program to perform our music (singing, recorder, and dance) along with the Fox Valley Symphony Youth Orchestra. This is an amazing once in a lifetime opportunity for our students to be a part of a professional concert.

This highly participatory program teaches students to sing and play an instrument in the classroom and perform with a professional orchestra from their seats at a culminating concert at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center.

We have been provided with all the materials including music and instruments and have been working hard in preparation for the program. Help make this dream a reality for our hard working fourth grade students!
