My students need 4 graphing calculators so we can do more investigating and experimenting in math class!!

Remember the light bulb? The one that went off when you FINALLY grasped a concept in your high school math class? I live for the look on my students' faces when they overcome a challenge and answer a math question correctly. However, without a calculator, Algebra can be incredibly frustrating!
My girls are a part of New York State's first all-girls charter high school.
We are mostly comprised of students from an urban area. This is only our third year and already they have blown me away with their academic and emotional growth. Our girls are leaders in our school and community and are working hard to challenge the stereotypes and expectations of young women from urban areas.
I would love for every student in my class to have a graphing calculator! I still have the TI-89 that my mother bought for me during my first year at high school. I hadn't realized then what a financial burden these graphing calculators can be. Now, in talking with families at my school, it is clear that $100.00 calculators are not in the "back to school" budget. There are so many experiments, investigations, and tools that I want to share with my girls, and this technology would make that possible!
In the long run, I would like to be able to provide calculators for all of our students while they attend our school.
For now, I would be so appreciative of any support you can lend in teaching my girls the technological literacy associated with operating a graphing calculator. Help me turn on more light bulbs!!
