My students excitedly begin school each day, ready to learn and with smiles on their faces. This year is quite different than in the past...I have 60 cyber third graders. Our entire elementary school qualifies for free breakfast and lunch.
My students come from diverse backgrounds with a strong desire to learn and be challenged.
They seize opportunities and are excited by new perspectives and additions to the classroom. Classroom instruction includes highly engaging, hands-on activities to keep students focused and motivated. My students are in need of opportunities to build a strong educational foundation that will prepare them for the future.
My Project
Technology use within the elementary classroom not only helps young students learn the skills required to operate the newest devices and latest software, but also allows them to research and solve problems in a collaborative and cooperative manner with their peers. Students need to build a solid knowledge base in the STEM areas in order to be successful in the future. Our Science curriculum has amazing interactive features that students will be able to access with this chromebook. They will learn so much about the environment around them.
Technology increases access to learning opportunities for all children.
Students will get unlimited access to district math and reading programs with the Chromebook. Activities will be based on real life situations and designed to challenge students. This project will make math, reading, technology, and science both fun and exciting.
