My Students

I have a group of 15 amazing three year-old students. We are located in a small, rural district in northeastern Oklahoma. The majority of the schools in our district are Title I. Our community has a very high Native American population, as it is the home to nine Tribal Nations.

Many of my students are experiencing being in a school setting for the first time.

We are preparing them and building a foundation for them to continue to become successful scholars.

My Project

We are asking for some tools and toys to add to our sensory table.

Research shows that sensory play builds nerve connections to create pathways in little one's brains.

Sensory play is very important in 3K, since three is when a lot of brain development takes place.

We are asking for some fake snow and moldable sand to put into our water and sand table. We are also asking for some sensory noodles and sensory tubs to put them in. We are also asking for a mold kit and ice cream mold kit.
