My students need Chromebooks in the classroom in order to effectively connect with all their different learning styles. Our classroom is made up of nineteen students who are eager to learn and want the opportunities of the 21st century.
My students are creative, curious, passionate and hardworking individuals who are truly an amazing group to be with everyday!
Our school is made up of a diverse culture where many students come from low socioeconomic households. Our classroom would benefit greatly with the opportunity to work with technology daily.
The students in my class are very creative and extremely engaged in learning when I tie in technology! Our district is very large however we are lacking technology. We are a title I school so the use of technology would greatly benefit my students.
Currently, the only form of technology my students can utilize is the school computer lab. Not having access to technology on a daily basis is challenging for my students. They deserve to have the opportunity of endless resources and multiple methods of learning.
My Project
I am beyond excited to have the honor of being a teacher, role model and mentor to my students. In our classroom, I am constantly researching and reading to see how I can better my teaching to benefit my students. Students today are so interested and motivated through the use of technology and I want to bring it into the classroom.
With the use of Chromebooks, we could do enrichment programs, research projects, group work and so much more.
Chromebooks would also help these students prepare for their future endeavors whether in the workforce or academics. This project will help these students have the resources they need to help them achieve their goals!
