This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are middle to high schoolers who would simply like to start having adventures with making movies and creating plays. My students are currently doing a play based on an animated movie, and I can personally see how interactive and involved they are in my theater class. My students are really creative, fun to work with and intelligent. They should have the opportunity to take home a piece of their theater day in the form of a video! Next semester we will be working on social issues, musical theater and the different parts of a production, in which cameras are in need.

My Project

This project will benefit our theater class, providing new cameras used to make small movies, record plays and make the class a fun environment. My students will be able to go over and revise how their class or individuals preformed, and how they can improve in their performance as individuals. My students' knowledge of cameras will increase, as we start to structure plays and movies and recording on the scene. Not only will my students become more social but they will become they might find lots of interest and want to pursue a career in theater. They will develop higher self-esteem and create new ways to express themselves.
