Our students live in upstate New York in a very small rural town. They come from a variety of backgrounds and income levels. But let's be real, many are at the poverty level.
They are excited to become life long learners and to create their own story.
Our classes serve students with a range of disabilities, including intellectual disabilities, emotional disturbance, autism spectrum disorder and specific learning disabilities. We offer various programs to support the individual needs of the students.
My Project
I am asking for a Rebel Camera so that I can take it on Field Trips for French Club, I can attend sporting events and take photos as well as many other events in our community. Our June Dance is coming up soon, and how fun would it be to create a photo booth?
My goal is to create a photo booth where students can take photos and get them automatically, they can take silly photos, serious photos, whatever they choose!
That's the beauty of an instant camera. Don't you remember the days of Polaroids? They are back!! I think this instant camera can be used at any dance, and would a great addition to our school.
