Mr. Jordan from Sunrise FL is requesting professional development through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
I need to go to the Get Your Teach On Conference to continue my PD on engagement.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
As a teacher, I am working to build students who are prepared for the jobs of the future. This training will provide me with new and creative ways to reach my students and to get them excited about learning. It will also provide me with tips that I can use with teachers to spread this same excitement all across my campus.
My students are bright, energetic, and fun elementary students at a school in the beautiful Sunshine State of Florida.
We are a Title I School, which means that a majority of the students at my school are students who receive free and/or reduced-price lunch. Despite this label, my students are always eager to learn, and they work hard to grasp concepts. My kids are also champions. In my class, a champion is one who comes to school on time, works hard, and gives their best effort each and every day. They are respectful and friendly and treat each other as a family!
I would love to gain engaging strategies to support my students in their learning. I would love to learn from some of the best educators in the land. I would love the opportunity to meet up with like-minded educators who are just as excited about student engagement.
I can do all of this and a whole lot more at the Get Your Teach On Conference.
This conference will allow me to learn engaging strategies that I can use with all of my students from year to year. It will provide me with new techniques that I can share with my colleagues so that their students can also gain from this experience. It will help me to promote positive classroom management and provide me with new and exciting ways to teach reading, math, and writing. This will make a great impact on the lives of my students!
