My Students

Say new technology in my classroom and my students' ears perk up. They love to try new projects.

My middle school students love to be creative.

By creating these animations, the students will gain experience not only in technology, but also speaking skills, working together with other students, and sharing their creativity. Animation may open many doors for these students.

My Project

I can see my students busily creating their stop motion animation projects. Drafting story lines, crafting settings, developing characters, and taking pictures with the digital cameras that you all so generously donated. The tripods will assist the students with holding the camera steady which is critical in stop motion animation. I wonder if Steven Spielberg or George Lucas started out this way? Think of the possibilities.

The skills that the students will learn by completing these projects will be lifelong skills that will enable them to be successful adults.

They can take these computer skills to college or directly into the work place.
