Ms. Glass from Moundville AL is requesting instructional technology through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
Help me give my students a document camera and green screen for distance learning and creative interactive lessons.

At the end of the school year, I want my students to be able to smile as they recall information they have learned in my class. I want them to feel confident in their answer, because I have provided engaging activities for them to remember for the rest of their lives. It is truly a reward when children are confident and eager to show you what they have learned.
My children are very smart and eager to learn.
They love outdoor activities and nature. The school is located along the black-belt region, where schools are generally underfunded. They become very bored with worksheets and textbooks. Our students are sometimes dealt with the shore hand when it comes to hands-on learning and rigorous, engaging activities, where they can move and touch things outside the classroom.
During this time, both teachers and students have been dealt a hand that requires us to be both innovative and resilient. Students have been forced to become 100% digitally -dependent on technology in order to be academically successful. In many instances, teachers are forced to improvise and hunt for digital devices that can help them teach class.
The document camera would help me virtually review assignments, display science experiments, and display data.
This will provide students with high quality lessons where they would be able to see and understand the lessons without many technological disruptions.
The green screen would be used for student-lead lessons. It will provide a fun virtual background for kids to record their lesson all while lessening the amount of distractions and prevent them from being self- conscious about how their area looks to other students.
