it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students
I have the best students ever. I know that teacher says that about their class, but I truly have the best students ever. I have students that come from many different backgrounds and educational abilities. What makes this class the best ever is that they truly are a family. In our classroom we have gifted students, learning challenged students, and everything in between. This family, our classroom family, has many challenges that we face daily, but we work together to overcome those challenges.
They are smart, fun, and very energetic.
We do a great deal of projects and hands on learning to keep their minds moving as quickly as their bodies. As the year goes on my hope is that I am able to engage my students in learning everything they need to learn to be successful students in the years to come.
I started this by saying we are a family, and this is true. When the students walk into my room in August they become my children. I love them like they are my own, and when they leave my classroom at the end of the year, my family has grown by 27 more amazing children.
My Project
Third grade is an amazing year in which students begin to explore new areas of learning. I am requesting a digital video camera for my classroom to help enrich my students to express their learning in new and exciting ways.
My students will be learning how to work with script writing, green screens, editing, and publishing.
Students will have the opportunity to use technology in a new way and then show case their learning in different ways. This camera will be used across all academic areas. With this camera it will allow my student to experience technology in different ways.
