My Students

We are a small media arts program in eastern Kentucky. Our program is new and students are just getting accustomed to the grind, but they have excelled at every turn. While we need many things to level the playing field for our students, we are in need of camera cases to protect the equipment they already have.

These students are the kind who make the most from what they're given, because they are used to doing that outside the classroom.

The kids learn fast and get better every day. They were state finalist STLP competitors and the only school in the state of Kentucky to produce a broadcast from Rupp Arena during the state basketball tournament.

My Project

Our media arts students have been blessed with several cameras. These cameras have allowed them to be a part of live productions, produce award-worthy content and engage our community in new ways. Unfortunately, they did not come with cases and they have taken a few bumps in the last year.

By donating to our project, you will not only help these students take care of their equipment right now, but make sure that equipment is there for years to come.

Luckily, nothing has been destroyed or seriously damaged, but camera cases would prevent that and give the students another layer of needed responsibility to prepare them for a career in media.
