My Project

Many children come to me with sensory needs. Sensory regulation comes in many ways and with the use of many different tools. Children need to be shown how to regulate their bodies. Without sensory regulation, learning cannot occur.

Adding activities into a students day: sight, texture, and breathing can help get my students ready to learn.

They are able to practice life long skills.

These sensory lights, pads and other items will be added to my sensory room where students can practice regulation. It is a place to be able to focus on something while getting their bodies and brain ready to learn.
