Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

What I love about my students is that they are the type of students that come in and are ready to work and that makes me love being a teacher even more. These fourth graders are funny, sweet, and enthusiastic about learning. My students are not ready to go home at the end of the day.

When my students walk into our classroom, they know that they are welcomed and in a safe space to learn.

My Project

These materials will be used for learning in the classroom setting. Students will be able to use this technology during research to broaden their technical horizons, drama to allow new creative freedoms, science fair projects to explore new ideas and hard questions, independent reading to foster independence and imagination, math to enhance math skills, I will be able to provide visuals to enhance understanding of new vocabulary, it will be used during reading to help with reading comprehension and fluency, and 'peace area' videos for respite from all their hard work.
