This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our high school scholars are truly one of a kind! They are accomplishing so many great things and preparing themselves to make their community and world a better place through their Design Thinking Projects, which gives them the opportunity to find better solutions for issues within the community. Most scholars come from disadvantaged backgrounds with limited resources yet they always have a smile on their face. They are curious and relentless individuals eager to set new expectations not just for themselves but for future generations to come.

My Project

These materials will allow us to create a memory wall for this school year and many more to come. Scholars are used to seeing an empty wall as they walk through the doors onto campus. With this memory wall, we hope that as soon as they walk onto campus they will find inspiration and motivation to have a successful day of learning.

These instant pictures will allow our scholars to create a social and emotional connection with their peers and staff members.

Our scholars will be able to feel more at home being at our school and will have a wall full of memories to prove just that!
