My Students

My kindergarten students are amazing! They are so energetic, smart, and there is never a dull moment in my classroom! A lot of my students enter Kindergarten with little or no academic knowledge. They impress me everyday because they try their best and are so eager to learn. They start off learning the alphabet and writing their name, and by the end of the year they are reading books and writing stories! I teach in a Title I school where the majority of students receive free or reduced price lunch and breakfast. Some students also receive snack packs for the weekend to make sure they are fed. Although some of my students face difficulties in their life , they are always eager to learn! I give it my all to be the best teacher to my students because they deserve that!

My Project

Having this document camera in my classroom would help my students writing skills tremendously! During the closing of our daily writing lesson we have a "share" time. My students get so excited to share their work that they are so proud of.

This sharing time is SO important because it allows each and everyone of my students a chance to see what great writing pieces look like and what they can do to improve their own writing.

A document camera would allow my students work to be seen clearly. This will help my students greatly and they will all become better writers.
