My students need different Readers Theater book sets to read with one another in class.
William Shakespeare once said, "All the world's a stage, and all the men and women are merely players."
The 43 students who call my classroom home are students who are eager to learn and are full of life.
These students want to do their very best at all they attempt. The students reading range varies greatly and they all need items at their level to help them succeed.
The sets of Readers Theater Scripts would allow small groups of my students to read the same play. By putting these Readers Theaters into my classroom my students would have more exposure to plays and performances than they do now. These stories would be read weekly and performed by the students to help meet their Common Core Standards in Language Arts.
My students need fun ways to express themselves while reading.
Readers Theater Scripts allow my students to read stories with differing genres building even more on what we've discussed in our lessons this year. These stories will bring a level of fun and performance that is missing from our reading class this year.
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
