My Students

Our kindergarten through fifth-grade elementary school is nestled in North Idaho next to beautiful Lake Coeur D' Alene. Our low poverty school is seventy percent free or reduced-price lunch. With poverty comes many challenges, but you would never know that if you saw what pride our students take in their learning. We are the proud Wolves!

My fifth graders this year are ready to learn and excited about the new school year.

I can't wait to give them every opportunity to learn and prosper in a productive and fun learning environment.

My Project

My students are responsible for writing, filming, and producing the news for our school! A camera that is easy to use and has online access will allow us to publish our news broadcast online so that our whole school can enjoy each one of our newscasts. This camera will also be easy for the students to film outside and other various locations around the school to conduct interviews and capture current events!

My students enjoy filming and producing the news all on their own, which builds their writing, speaking, and listening, skills!

Having a camera will make it possible for us to continue our project-based learning and share the school news with the rest of our campus!
