This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
We are a title one school with students that range from exceptionally gifted in various subjects and skills to students that have difficulties in one or more areas. Many of my students are in families that lack the ability to spend extra money for class supplies. Some of the supplies, they should never have to come out of pocket for.
Several of my students are in the retention intervention program.
These students work very hard to overcome these adversities.
My Project
While learning from home, the document camera and tablet allows for me to write out and show the work in real time. It is very difficult to to write in the screen of the laptop using the mouse and cursor.
When returning to school, the projector will allow for showing my screen and additional learning resources on the wall large enough for the entire class.
