I teach 22 eager and enthusiastic third graders. They love to read and learn about reading in our rain forest themed room. We hope to receive donations to help us in our great learning adventures in movie making.

My school is slowly adding technology each year. Sadly, there is not enough money to purchase video equipment for our classroom. For the past two years I've used my personal video camera and software. I would like for my students to be able to record their movies with a HD video camcorder.

My students need a video camcorder to create their classroom movies. Movies are a great way to integrate technology in the classroom. My students want to create a documentary of the city where we live. It's a great opportunity for the students to explore their community and learn about the history of our city hands-on.

My students will create their own movie topic and scripts. They will also direct and record the movie with the camera.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
