My Students

Our elementary school is high poverty and unique because we serve the children of military families. All of my students have at least one parent and some have both parents serving our country. Several students even have a parent deployed.

My students live far away from their extended families, so our school faculty and staff become their family.

Each day, my students enter the classroom with bright, shining faces eager to learn! They are a diverse group of twenty-two, pre-kindergartners. I want to be able to meet their needs through science, technology, engineering, literacy, math, and art to create career-bound citizens.

My Project

Preschool online learning involves a lot of guided instructions, which can be very difficult for students to visualize online. This document camera will make it easier to adapt to the difficulties of distant learning for my students and myself.

The document camera will serve as a tool for students to view and have clearer access to materials viewed online.

A document camera will make learning for my Pre-K students a success by making it possible for all to easily see and hear from their home the stories, science experiments and math activities I am presenting.
