My Students

We are in a 2nd-grade classroom in western South Dakota. We are always growing and learning. We love to think, question, and explore new concepts of learning. We love to take risks and try new things. We love hands-on activities that will help us thrive in the future.

My Project

This DonorsChoose order will be added to our classroom to support our STEAM activities and word work activities. The light-up sand and bead table will be used for student exploration along with student practice with high-frequency words and spelling word practice. Students will utilize this each day. We also need a few replacements for our STEAM activities. Students in second grade learn in many ways but most kids love to learn through kinesthetic ways. These materials will provide learning and practicing in a fun and engaging way.
