My students need a light table and a kitchen set to explore and learn while using their senses, creativity and imagination. Our students will be working on social/emotional and language skills as well.

My Students

We are a three and four year old, multiage Early Education classroom. For many of our children, this is their first experience in a classroom setting. Our children are so inquisitive, enthusiastic and their love for learning is infectious! What an exciting time!

Our goal is to provide these wonderful students with developmentally appropriate experiences to promote their social/emotional skills, fine/gross motor skills and problem solving skills.

Our students are so eager and excited to learn! We can't wait to share these wonderful items with them!

My Project

Early Education students learn best through play. Giving them an updated, functioning kitchen set will allow them to explore, expand and engage in dramatic play. Dramatic play is central to children's healthy development and learning during the preschool years. When children engage in dramatic play they deepen their understanding of the world and develop skills that will serve them throughout their lives.

A light table can really enhance math, literacy and writing skills in a fun, playful way.

The table will be used for open ended play experiences, teaching academic concepts, arts, crafts and so much more. Adding the light table to our center based classroom will become a powerhouse of learning!
