Help me give my students the ability to illuminate their projects and learn about science while creating art. With the Chibitronics kit we will be able to put circuits into our artwork and watch them light up.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students enter the room ready to create amazing art. They have so much energy and creative spirit that it is shared throughout the campus. As we are working my students enjoy creating artwork with new and innovative materials. We are looking at how technology and new materials are being used to create art in today's world.
With our materials, we are working towards improving our craftsmanship and exploring how different cultures create artwork and what art means to them.
Our campus focuses on the fine arts and uses them to help teach all of the subjects to our students. Our students are a very diverse group who have many different backgrounds and experiences. All students are active participates in the Fine Art classes, from Kindergarten to 6th grade. These students are able to focus and explore using many different fine art programs. They are being encouraged to explore and learn about not just the fine arts but about themselves as well.
My Project
I am going to be teaming up with our 5th grade science teacher to help them create an excitement with creating. We will be looking at how circuits work and incorporating them into the art to make areas of them glow. The students will be looking at ecosystems and other aspects of science that can have light shone onto them.
We are super excited for the students to be able to figure out how to use the Chibitronics lights and even learn that Math, Science and art is all connected!
