I teach an amazing group of students from a small, rural town. They range from grades 3-5. They are very excited and curious about learning.
While my students come from a wide range of economical backgrounds, they are all truly motivated to work hard and learn!
I get the opportunity to teach three classes math and keep them from 3rd grade until they finish 5th grade. I love the chance to get to really know them and help develop their minds!
My Project
Learning happens best when students are able to enjoy and feel comfortable in their environment. Light tends to be a large factor impacting my students learning. They are constantly asking to turn the lights off or just turn one switch off to dim the lighting.
By using lamps around the room, I will be able to turn the bright lights off allowing my students to work in a calming environment!
Hanging lights will add more light to the room that will allow students to see their work more clearly.
By providing dim lights in the classroom, my students will be able to feel like they are more at home. This will create a more calming atmosphere for them to be the best learners they can be!
