This quote describes exactly what kindergarten students need to do to increase their learning.
My students are energetic five- and six-year-old children who need a variety of ways to learn. For many, English is their second language, and, because of their different learning styles, most of our day centers around hands-on learning. My school is one of a few schools in the district that has an ELL (English Language Learners) program.
My Project
My students would benefit from the Tikteck Ultra-thin Portable LED Light Box Tracer, Letter and Number Construction Activity Sets, and Translucent Pattern Blocks as an additional resource for learning. My students learn in a very hands-on way. The light box will increase a child's attention to the learning objective.
Kinesthetic learning is one of the best ways to enhance a child's understanding of academic concepts.
The light box will be used during our station rotation to increase both alphabetic and numerical learning.
The lighted table top would be an excellent addition to our classroom routine. The students would have an opportunity to work on skills they have acquired in a fun and creative way.
