We are so lucky to have a Smart board in our autistic support classroom. Ms. N taught herself how to use it and has been designing super fun lessons with IEP goals embedded left and right! Our students love it and we've been learning day and night, until out went our light! Now we're in the dark!
Our students are kindergarten through third graders diagnosed with autism who attend an inner city Philadelphia public school.
Their autistic support teachers, Ms. G and Ms. N, have been working with this group of students for a few years now and have seen such tremendous progress. Our students have gone from not talking to reading! They love learning and are so inquisitive! They've taught us so much and we want to help them continue to grow! The sky's the limit!
You will literally turn on the light for us! Our Smartboard is just an overpriced huge piece of plastic on the wall when it's not working! If you've heard the news, Philadelphia schools barely have money for paper and pencils so projector light bulbs are really low on the priority list! We were using our board nonstop until our bulb burned out.
Reading, math, writing are so much more engaging when we can explore these subjects interactively!

Your donation will give us 6000+ hours of enlightening and engaging activities for our students with autism!
Our students are so interested in animals and the world around them. They are visual learners and activities on the Smartboard provides limitless possibilities to expand their knowledge.
I know that a light bulb might not sound like the most creative project out there, but it will make all the difference!
Please help us to use the limited resources we already have!
