Our students are some of the most creative and genuine people you will ever meet. That creativity spills out onto the walls in the form of murals, signs, and class projects. A small school with the majority of students on free and reduced lunch, our limited numbers and funds don't allow us to offer many diverse electives or after school programs to nourish that creative spirit. My hope is this new theater venture will provide a powerful new outlet for them.
My Project
We are requesting a stage lighting system and fog machine for our brand new Spartan Theater Club. Students will use this system to generate convincing scenes that will draw the viewers into a different world for a short time.
A lighting system and a fog machine will allow my theater students to really connect with the performance in a way that wouldn't be possible without it.
Incorporating technology into our program will further allow students to show their ingenuity in set design. With access to the right tools, I know our students will create incredible experiences for our audiences!
