My Students

Early childhood is the foundation of a child's education! I am a Pre-Kindergarten teacher. This is my tenth year of teaching Pre-K, and I love every minute of it! Everyday in Pre-K is a new adventure. This year I have been blessed with 25 students. My students are four or five years old, and eager to learn through play. My school is in Oklahoma. The district where I teach is a high poverty community. There are limited funds for teachers to use.

My Project

The light table will make learning fun for my students. The light table is a hands-on learning tool for young children. With this table, my students will have the opportunity to work independently, dependently with me or in a small group of peers. Students will be thinking critically and communicating with others. The light table will be a fun way for my students to explore their creativity and work on math and literary skills. The crystal building blocks will allow students to create and develop fine motor skills. The alphabet tracing cards will allow students to learn early literacy skills.
