My Students

We are a K3 urban classroom. Our school is unique and consists of five K3 full-day classrooms. We love engaging, hands-on, learning experiences.

Three-year-olds are the most intuitive, enthusiastic, caring age-group I've had the privilege of working with.

It amazes me how quickly my students latch onto new information and grow from the first day of school to the last. They are always ready and eager to learn. It's a joy to work with such an amazing group of young people.

My Project

This light table would add a new level of excitement to learning in our classroom. The students would love to explore different objects through light. We could use the light table to amplify lessons pertaining to literacy, math, motor skills, and science.

The donation will help my students engage in a hands on learning experience many of them have never experienced.

We would use it to mix colors, create patterns, count objects, find letters in our name, and build colorful towers. My students would love the opportunity to explore and learn through light and color.
