My Students

These are the BEST and most CURIOUS 4th graders in the world! Simultaneously learning content and English as a second language (in most cases), they never turn down a challenge. They just eat up hands-on Science and the questions are non-stop.

My Project

Microscopes are an amazing tool to spark wonder and a deeper interest in science for our 4th graders. We will integrate them into almost every science topic. Among other things, we will look at drops of water from various sources, examine rocks in a new way, and even look at our own hair.

Microscopes will connect these students to their world in new ways.

It is important for them to have these hands-on experiences earlier, and this equipment is a huge step in the right direction, and a door to a world of which they may not yet be aware.
