This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Teachers Pay Teachers is a great resource for special education educators. These gift cards will help me purchase materials to create life skills task analyses for each of my students. Task analysis breaks down one big task into a smaller manageable task for students of the spectrum.

This will help me focus on my students' individual life skills needed to reach the road to independence.

The gift card will be used to make task analysis boxes of like skills that will include hygiene, money management, community awareness, and job skills. Task analysis is the first step to helping my students on the spectrum reach a road of independence.
