Our school is a small combined junior/senior high school, located in a rural community in Vermont just miles from the Canadian border. A new program has been introduced called Transition to Adult Programs and Services (TAPS). This program will serve students with a variety of disabilities for grades 6 right up to age 22. This program will focus on the transition from high school to adult programs and services that are available in the area. These students are in need of resources to practice life skills so they can become more independent and be successful adults.
My Project
The Teacher Pay Teacher digital resources I am requesting would be used to purchase vocational, life skill, and functional academic lessons. I am also requesting laminating sheets to protect the paper materials, folders to store the lessons in and velcro for matching activities.
These lessons will be used for a life skills transition program that is new this year to the district.
These skills are essential for my students' future.
Why reinvent the wheel when TPT already has resources created and will provide hands on, meaningful lessons for the students. Please help me by supporting my project.
