My students are an amazingly diverse class filled with a great deal of character.
My second graders are active, silly, caring, creative, and driven.
Coming from a wide variety of home lives and socio-economic situations, they are persevering to overcome what life has thrown at them. Many of the schools in our district receive Title I funding for extracurricular activities and resources. Our school, while high performing, has many low income students.
I want to broaden my students' horizons, and with your help, I can make a difference in my students' lives and educational experience. My students need to move and wiggle in order to focus on lessons and learning. Help me achieve my goal!
These materials will positively impact my students' success in second grade! I have many active and wiggly students who would benefit from alternative seating.
Many new studies show that having alternative forms of flexible seating support multiple learning styles and student success.
By providing my students with acceptable ways to wiggle in their seats, they will be able to focus on lessons taught in class and getting their work done. Students learn and thrive in many different environments, and I want to give my students choices that will help them be successful in the classroom. Help me reach my goal and support student learning!
