This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My 6th grade students are amazing. With a total of 150 students, in which some have me twice due to their electives I am confident to be able to say I have a unique group who are constantly eager to learn. These students came back this year with more knowledge on utilizing technology in the classroom, especially after having to to distance learning. Physical education is just as important as other courses including core classes because the content is lifelong.

I would love to be able to have the technology needed in order to integrate this towards our classroom.

Because our physical education class consists of a lecture and lab basis, students are not only able to demonstrate how they reach their goals physically but through different areas of understanding through the use of technology. My students come to class excited, with great energy. They are always entering with a positive attitude and truly enjoy working as a community in our class.

My Project

I am requesting this funding for this piece of technology to help better prepare my classroom. This device/funding will be crucial because I will be able to incorporate technology into physical education. I will be able to attend and access online content along with students health logs, personal scores and even implement this technology device when attending professional developments. It will also be utilized for organizing their grades and being able not only monitor students progress but show them daily. This material will create lessons that are for life not just in class.
