This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

"Music is the universal language of mankind." Music is vital for the development of human perception and sensibility. Music helps people to connect to others, can tell us who we are, and can be an expression of the humans who create it.

When given the opportunity to study music, students learn to respect others and appreciate the music that is being created.

Students can learn to be more respective, empathetic, and compassionate beings. Music provides one of the experiences that cannot be acquired in traditional schooling. The arts are meant to produce an emotional experience - one that is pivotal for human consciousness and development.

This project is being pitched in order to fund musical instruments to help students learn the fundamentals of music education; these instruments will help students to grasp counting, rhythm, and music notation. By supporting this project, students will get the resources that are necessary to help launch their musical traits, expression, character, and values.

I ask humbly that you consider donating to this project. The resources allocated in this project will help us to fund the arts; the arts, now more than ever, are necessary to complement a curriculum that is already in place.
