I teach Special Needs students in four multiple grade levels, at a Title I School District. One hundred percent of our student population receives free and reduced lunch. Every day they work very hard to reach their IEP goals.
My students are eager to learn and be creative every day.
They are sweet, respectful, responsible, happy and curious students who love to explore the endless possibilities in our classroom.
They are amazing kids that deserve the best education. I feel blessed to teach such an amazing group of students.
My Project
Imagine trying to make it through your day in wet and dirty clothing. Do you think you'd be successful? When accidents happen at school---whether it be spilled milk or accidentally missing the restroom---students and teachers within my building look to me to provide clean and dry clothing. No child should have to sit in wet clothing throughout the day. Doing so could cause distractions or embarrassment in the learning environment, prohibiting student success.
Your donations will go directly towards new underwear for both boys and girls.
When a student comes to me with wet clothing, your donations towards my project will directly impact students by allowing me to provide students with clean and dry clothing.
