Life Cycles Coming to Life!

Help me give my students the opportunity to hatch chicken eggs in the incubator when we learn about life cycles in the spring!

My Students

My students are inspired to learn. My students come from various ethnic backgrounds and various academic abilities! With this, my students are beginning to learn to read, write, and speak academic and conversational English language. They strive to do their best and put forth their best effort. Within the classroom, I strive to give my students the best learning environment possible by teaching my students strategies they can use inside and outside of the classroom to complete and exceed their grade level work!

My Project

My students are absolutely going to love hatching chicks this year! We will be learning about life cycles and also various different animals that live in different environments this year. With this incubator, my students will have the opportunity to use the flashlight on the eggs and see the veins in the unhatched chicks. They will also observe the chicks breaking their air hole in the egg and witness the baby chick hatch! This will make a difference in my students' lives by witnessing this experience first hand and making their learning come to life! The chick's life cycle will be accompanied by butterflies as well!
