Help me give my students STEM materials and seating for a new MakerSpace in our library. Providing this space will give our students opportunities to explore hands-on materials to build, tinker, and discover.

Previous to middle school, most of our students have little experience with a library system and we are changing their perspective on our Literacy Room/Little Library. Our students have not had similar opportunities, activities, or experiences that many elementary students get to experience in library programming. We would like to change that in their middle school years!
Our students deserve a functional space to use as a library with reading storage, seating, and flexible work space.
Our school has started to grow a little library in our literacy classroom. We would like to encourage more readership in our 'library' by utilizing our space with unique programming tied to literacy. My students are awesome and diverse, and they deserve the best opportunities to make our community even stronger!
Our little library is slowly transforming into an environment where students feel safe to explore reading adventures, research people, discuss ideas, solve puzzles, and complete large projects. We would love to create a designated space for students to explore STEM related projects. The Learniture seating will be a fun space for creativity to flow, specifically for tinkering. The Engino Physics and Science/STEM kits will become a rotating set for students to use during open library, lunch, and club times.
We are excited to provide a calm space for thinkers and tinkerers.
Our school places a strong emphasis on literacy and the sciences. This project is the prefect blend for a MakerSpace. Can you imagine students coming to one location to check out books, tinker on the STEM project of the week, and feel comfortable to make friends and discuss ideas and solutions? We can too!! Our students are so excited to see our library transform!
