My Project

My students and I have been working to reorganize and revitalize the library at our elementary school. The students have me update our library collection to make it more current and diverse. In addition, the students have worked together to redesign the space to make it calming and more comfortable for reading. We've had small grants from several sources to update our floor seating and books, but we need a little more help to bring the students' ideas to fruition.

It's been amazing to include student voices in the library revitalization process.

The students know what kind of books they like and they know what makes them feel like reading. We want a library that is safe, welcoming, and a comfortable environment for all readers. Please help us achieve our dream library plan!
