Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Next school year, I am switching grades. I'll be teaching twenty-four first graders. I look forward to teaching them a developmentally appropriate curriculum that blends social and emotional experiences with academic learning. I want to prepare my students for future success.
Our school's mission is to empower learners to thrive in the 21st century.
Our school serves a large population of English Language Learners with diverse backgrounds. It is a Title I school and all of the students receive free breakfast and lunch.
My Project
My students need a neat and organize classroom library. The book bins that I'm requesting will help me categorize our class books by genres, levels, and series.
By having library books organized and accessible, students will be able to find books that best fit their reading interests.
Students will be more motivated to read books that are at their level and interest. First grade is an exciting learning period. Students move from non-readers or early emergent readers to emergent readers. For this reason, it is important to make reading area organize and fun. Your support will help me create an amazing reading area for all my students.
