Our school serves students in grades pre-kindergarten through fifth grade and provides rigorous academics, fantastic teachers, and a safe learning environment.
My students are from an inner city school and are from low-income families.
Our school has a poverty rate of over 96 percent.
The opportunity and achievement gaps are apparent among our student population. Teachers are expected to deliver excellent instruction in science, math, English, and social studies without the requisite tools to teach our students. We aim high to achieve success!
With your help we can give our books a home! With the abundant amount of books in my classroom and not a whole lot of storage space, the mobile Flex-Space Mobile Storage Bin Center will allow me to organize my books by authors and themes. Each bin will be labeled based on the themes and authors we focus on throughout the year.
This will help keep our classroom library looking organized and inviting to my students!
Students will know exactly where to find a book about the seasons or pick their favorite book by Laura Numeroff with the use of the storage bin center!
