My 9th grade students are all in English 1A, an accelerated class that pushes students to be their best every day. These engaging and excited students work on the building blocks of collaboration in order to work effectively with one another in this 21st century world. Specifically focusing on collaboration, technology, and leadership my students are improving by leaps and bounds.
My students have already completed a month long kindness challenge, and now I ask you, will you please give back to these hardworking students?
This shelving will allow my students to have a classroom library they can be proud of! Most classroom bookshelves are simple, have three shelves, and are honestly uninviting. I have run out of shelf space in my classroom, and as I expand my classroom library based on student needs and recommendations the books need a home!
These bookshelves are fun, inviting, and welcome students to peruse their shelves!
The Tiered Tree bookcase is perfectly designed to catch the eye. I plan to use the Tree bookcase to display recommended books. Books that I have discussed with my students, but more importantly, books my students recommend to each other!
A warm, welcoming classroom library creates a positive reading atmosphere, exactly what I want for my students! I hope to inspire my students to love reading, and I need all the help I can get. These bookshelves are a small, but integral part in convincing my students that reading is fun!
